The CME Center
The OOA offers on-demand programs through The CME Center, a collaborative effort by state societies to provide the highest quality online education for the osteopathic physician community. Programs address clinical topics as well as practice management and health care regulation issues. All programs are eligible for AOA Category 1-A credit.

Simply CME
The OOA has partnered with five other state osteopathic associations (Iowa, Maine, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington) to offer Simply CME, a series of one-day virtual conferences.
This online program offers physicians the flexibility to attend a LIVE online event and/or access it on-demand for 45 days after the live event concludes. In addition, the entire event may be completed on-demand at a later date and time that fits your schedule.
Simply CME programs consists of eight pre-recorded presentations. Speakers are live on the platform on the day of the event to answer questions during (via chat) and after their pre-recorded lecture. Members get a discount on registration.
Ohio Osteopathic Symposium
The Ohio Osteopathic Symposium is the state's premier continuing medical education event for osteopathic physicians, attracting more than 500 DOs from Ohio and the midwest. The Symposium, held annually in April, has something for everyone, including program blocks that qualify for specialty credit in areas like pediatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and family medicine. The luxurious Columbus Hilton Hotel and adjacent Easton Town Center make the Symposium an ideal location to spend an enjoyable weekend with your spouse and family exploring a variety of restaurants, entertainment, and shopping venues after the educational sessions.
On average, the Symposium program offers 30 hours of AOA Category 1-A CME credit, with a variety of workshops and lectures providing the most up to date information on topics every physician should know. Attendees also have an opportunity to get updates from state and national leaders, participate in the OOA annual business meeting, or spend time networking with friends and colleagues from across the state.
A showcase for research, the Symposium is host to a regional scientific poster contest with more than 75 entries from Ohio and surrounding states.
