Nominations are Now Open for the 2025 OOA Awards

The Ohio Osteopathic Association (OOA) is accepting nominations for its 2025 Awards, recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to osteopathic medicine and their communities.

Award Categories:
Distinguished Service Award – The highest honor for an osteopathic physician who has demonstrated exceptional service and leadership.

Meritorious Service Award – Recognizes a non-osteopathic individual for outstanding public service, philanthropy, or science contributions.

Trustees' Award – Given at the discretion of the OOA Board of Trustees for dedicated service to the OOA.

M. Bridget Wagner, DO, Humanitarian Award – Honors an osteopathic physician or affiliate for philanthropic work and service to humanity.

J.O. Watson, DO, Memorial Lecture Award – Presented for distinguished contributions to medical education, research, or scientific advancement in osteopathic healthcare.

George L. Eckert, Jr., DO, Mentor of the Year Award – Recognizes a physician who has provided outstanding mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.

Legacy Award – Established to honor individuals who have significantly advanced the osteopathic profession in Ohio.
