The following is a brief description of the course:
This introductory course invites participants to bring a new understanding of the function of Visceral Fascial Systems and general principles of Visceral Osteopathy into their overall practice in Osteopathy.
• Study of GI anatomy and function through lecture and anatomy lab discussion/demonstration will be used to introduce the principles of visceral diagnosis and treatment.
• Focused demonstrations will be followed by supervised practice of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches within the GI system. This will enhance the theoretical information presented and raise learning to an optimal level during this course.
• The combination of theoretical information and skills practice will help participants better understand ways to improve GI Function through application of visceral Osteopathic principles.
